The Root was established as a project that would challenge & satisfy a collective artistic urge.
The Root realizes that for an individual & its society to be able to understand itself its artists must have the freedom to express their personal vision & that an audience has a right to experience said vision of their own free will.
Freedom of expression comes with a responsibility so The Root demands all its members conduct themselves with good ethics & constructive behavior, with open heart.
The Root defends all manifestations of high caliber artistic expression. Through image, action and word The Root protects the freedom of speech regardless of individual ideology, politics, religion, creed, gender or ethnicity.
